This policy covers yorkstudio.io, its contact form, the York Studio Briefing signup, and first-party website analytics.

Information you provide

If you contact York Studio, the site processes the name, email address, enquiry type, and message you submit so the enquiry can be answered. If you join the Briefing, the site sends your email address and website signup source to beehiiv to manage your subscription. New subscribers are asked to confirm their email address. We do not send the contents of other website forms to beehiiv.

Service providers

York Studio uses Vercel to host the site and provide privacy-conscious website analytics, Resend to deliver contact messages, and beehiiv to manage newsletter subscriptions and delivery. Those providers process limited technical or contact data on York Studio's behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

Beehiiv processes subscription status and email engagement information, such as opens and clicks, as part of its newsletter service. Email open measurements can be affected by mailbox privacy features. Read beehiiv’s privacy policy for its processing details.

Analytics and technical data

The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic and site performance. Server logs may also contain ordinary technical data such as requested URLs, timestamps, browser information, and IP-derived information used for security and operation.

Motion preference

If you use the motion control, your browser saves a local preference so animation stays paused or enabled on your next visit. This preference stays in your browser and is not sent to York Studio. The site also respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.

Retention

Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond, maintain a legitimate business record, or meet a legal obligation. Unsubscribing stops future briefing emails. A limited suppression record may remain so an unsubscribed address is not accidentally added again. You can ask us to delete your subscriber information.

Your choices

You may ask what personal data York Studio holds about you, request correction or deletion where applicable, or unsubscribe from the Briefing using the link in a message or by emailing York Studio.
